Islamabad : Pakistani army claims to have intensified action against terrorists as it killed eight terrorists were killed by the Army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in an encounter. One Army soldier was fell to the bullets of the terrorist group.
The Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement that a terrorist hideout in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was raided based on information received from the intelligence department. The terrorists also opened firing in which one soldier lost his life. The terrorists killed included their Commander Gen Muhammad alias Charg.
The Army personnel recovered arms and explosives from the place. The terrorists were involved in attacks on security personnel and civilians. Identity of the terrorists killed in the encounter is being established.
