Chandauli/Jaunpur, Mar 3 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that our alliance was with the people as we were giving the benefits of our schemes directly to them whereas “the nexus of Parivarvadi forces are with the mafia”. Modi was addressing a public meeting at Navin Mandi premises in Chandauli district on Thursday. Earlier, he also addressed an election meeting in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates of Jaunpur district at TD College grounds. “We feel the pains of the poor, dalits and backwards and it was the reason why we did not leave any of them sleep hungry during the last two years when the centuries worst coronavirus pandemic gripped the world,” he said, and added that we also ensured that everyone should get free corona vaccine. Only in Chandauli district, 14,000 poor got their pucca houses during the Yogi government whereas the previous government never worried to look after such people. “When these houses were built, it also supported the middle class who provided bricks, cement and other articles apart from providing employment to local people,” he said. “Not only this, we also provided Ayushman cards to the poor so that they can get free treatment upto Rs five lakh,” he said, adding that as he also belongs to such a poor family he knows the problems of poor families. Modi said that we provided toilets to every house and the work to give water from tap to each house is going on. “The double engine government also helped the farmers adopt latest technology in their farming and it was the reason why a good number of farmers had exported ‘Kala Chawal’ (black rice),” he said, and making an attack on previous government the PM said that during earlier government, wheat and paddy was purchased from only 12,000 farmers of Chandauli district while during our regime, the number went to 50,000. “We also improved the overall infrastructure and in the coming years, Kashi to Kolkata Expressway will be constructed which will not only provide a lot of job opport ties to youths of Chandauli but also help the local farmers sell their fruits and vegetables in big markets easily. Apart from part candidates, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. Earlier, while addressing in Jaunpur, Modi also made scathing attacks on Parivarvadi forces whose main objectives were to keep the society divided on the names of religion and caste whereas “our nitti, niyat, nishtha and netritva” is to work for the growth of all through our honest and sincere effort and able leadership with good governance. Citing an example of recent attacks on the houses of a section of the poor in Jaunpur, Modi cautioned the people not to allow the Parivadivadi forces to re te again with the mafia. “The world is passing through a difficult phase, so there are several challenges and the country is able to face these tasks with confidence because of the support of the people,” he said, adding that by providing direct benefits to the farmers the BJP government has checked the corruption and ended the game of middlemen. He also made attacks on the previous state government saying that during that period despite several reminders, the poor did not get the benefits of our several schemes. The function was also addressed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It was attended by MPs Seema Dwevedi and BP Saroj apart from various BJP candidates. MB SHK1912
