Bhopal, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : In Bhopal, Umang Singhar, the leader of the opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, has leveled serious accusations against the state government. He highlighted a troubling paradox: while grain is rotting, children are dying from malnutrition. Singhhar spoke to reporters, stating that the state’s residents are unable to access essential food supplies, leading to tragic outcomes for vulnerable children.
He raised concerns about whether grain is being deliberately allowed to spoil for the benefit of ethanol plants. Singhhar argued that if this grain were distributed properly, many children suffering from malnutrition could have been saved, referencing a recent incident in Balaghat.
Singhar emphasized that the Congress party is voicing the concerns of the public and addressing issues faced by all segments of society. He asserted that it is the party’s responsibility to ensure that citizens receive their rights and to inform them about the government’s failure to fulfill its obligations.
Looking ahead, Singhhar pledged that Congress would continue to advocate for public concerns until they are resolved. He also commented on electronic voting machines, suggesting that the day elections are no longer held using EVMs would mark a significant decline for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
