New Delhi, May 8: Oil India Limited (OIL) has issued an official notification inviting applications for various 49 positions under a special recruitment drive for eligible persons with disabilities from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The vacancies include roles such as Junior Technician (Electronics Mechanic), Junior Technician (Fitter), Junior Technician (Instrument Mechanic), Junior Technician (Surveyor), Junior Office Assistant, and Junior Engineer (Electrical).
The application process for these positions commenced online on Friday at 2 PM, with the deadline set for June 8. Candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official website before or by the last date.
Applicants must have completed class 10 from a recognized institution or university, along with a trade certificate in Electronics Mechanic/Fitter/Instrument Mechanic/Surveyor (NCVT/SCVT). Additionally, candidates should possess a diploma or certificate in Computer Applications (minimum 6 months) after completing class 12, a 3-year diploma in Electrical Engineering, and a valid electrical supervisor qualification certificate issued by the Assam Government’s Electrical Licensing Board (Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4). All candidates must also meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills.
The minimum age for candidates is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 40 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on a computer-based test (CBT) and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹26,600 to ₹1,45,000, with the online exam scheduled for July 27.
