Cuttack, August 25: The Odisha T20 League 2026 is set to commence on September 18, culminating in a final match on September 27 at the renowned Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. This ten-day tournament will feature cricketers from various regions of the state, providing a platform for both seasoned players and emerging talents to showcase their skills.
Six teams will participate in this tournament, representing Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Keonjhar, Puri, Rourkela, and Sambalpur. The inclusion of teams from different areas will add a local flavor to the event, allowing players from various districts to test themselves against strong competitors.

Sanjay Behera, Secretary of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), welcomed the return of the tournament and expressed excitement for another season at Barabati Stadium.
Discussing the upcoming season, Behera stated, “We are thrilled that the Odisha T20 League 2026 will begin on September 18. The tournament will run until September 27, and we eagerly anticipate an exciting season of cricket at Barabati Stadium.”
Behera emphasized the league’s role in helping local cricketers advance their careers. He remarked, “This league is a crucial platform for Odisha’s cricketers. It offers them the chance to play competitive cricket, gain experience, and showcase their talent. We hope this tournament will assist many players in progressing in their careers.”
By bringing together players from across Odisha, the 2026 tournament will focus on regional representation and highlighting the state’s emerging cricketing talents. The historic Barabati Stadium has previously hosted numerous international cricket matches and will serve as the main venue for this tournament from September 18 through the final on September 27.
