O.P. Rajbhar Criticizes Akhilesh Yadav Amidst Muzaffarnagar Riot Remarks

Lucknow, June 4: O.P. Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, recently spoke about the upcoming state elections. He remarked that as the elections approach, everyone will start playing their own tunes. “Time will tell how strong their tunes are,” he stated.

Discussing Chandrashekhar’s role in Uttar Pradesh, Rajbhar asserted that the NDA alliance would overshadow others. “There is a big band party here; the smaller ones are just wandering around and won’t achieve anything,” he added.

In response to the Samajwadi Party’s criticism of the BJP, Rajbhar questioned Akhilesh Yadav’s credibility. He recalled the Muzaffarnagar riots, stating, “While people were dying, Akhilesh Yadav was watching a dance in Saifai. This is the kind of law and order they want.”

Rajbhar pointed out that during Yadav’s tenure, there were 1,000 riots resulting in 1,200 casualties. In contrast, he noted that under Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, not a single riot has occurred, nor has there been a curfew or loss of life. He challenged Yadav’s claims about law and order, asking, “Who is taking the law into their own hands?”

He also mentioned incidents of violence against Rajbhar community members by Yadav’s supporters, highlighting a lack of response from Yadav. “If we start from Ghaziabad, we see murders committed by Akhilesh’s voters. No one is speaking about this,” he said. He referred to a specific incident in Madhuban where a member of the Rajbhar community was killed by members of the Yadav community, emphasizing the silence surrounding such issues.

Regarding the upcoming Panchayat elections, Rajbhar asserted, “I am the Panchayati Raj minister, not Akhilesh Yadav.”

On the appointment of Ritabrata Banerjee as the opposition leader in the Bengal Assembly, Rajbhar attributed the TMC’s internal strife to Mamata Banerjee’s authoritarian style. He claimed that the people of Bengal desire change and have opted for a BJP government, which has initiated development efforts.
