Nothing is preparing to launch its next midrange smartphone, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, with key battery and charging specifications recently confirmed through global certification databases.
The Phone (4a) Pro, identified by model number A069P, has appeared in the European Union’s EPREL database, revealing a 5,080mAh battery capacity with support for 50W fast charging. This battery and charging setup is consistent with its predecessor, offering no major upgrade in this area. Despite this, the device has achieved an “A” energy efficiency rating from the EU.
According to the EPREL listing, the phone’s battery endurance is rated at approximately 63 hours and 24 minutes per full charge cycle. Additionally, the battery is expected to maintain up to 80% of its original capacity even after 1,400 charge cycles, indicating good longevity.
The certification also confirms the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro carries an IP65 rating, ensuring resistance to dust and protection against low-pressure water jets. Alongside the European certification, the phone has also been listed in India’s BIS database under the same model number, suggesting an imminent launch in the Indian market as well.
While many specifications remain under wraps, rumours indicate the Phone (4a) Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 7-series chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Connectivity options are expected to include eSIM support, continuing the trend from the current generation. Colour options are said to include black, white, pink, and blue variants.
With certifications now in place across multiple regions, an official announcement for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is anticipated soon.
