
New Delhi, April 24: The National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 59 Junior Engineer (Mining) positions on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for these roles, which include 27 positions for Unreserved (UR), 15 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 8 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 4 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 5 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The online application process commenced on April 22 at 10:00 AM, with the deadline set for May 6 at 11:45 PM. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official website within this timeframe.
Applicants must possess a diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution or university. Preference will be given to those holding a Foreman’s qualification certificate for metalliferous mines.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 50 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a skill test, document verification, medical fitness, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹60,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹250 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ex-servicemen and departmental candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official NMDC website. After navigating to the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, submit the form and keep a copy of the application for future reference.
