Patna, April 11 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday dismissed all specifications on his switching over to national politics, saying all these things had no meaning at all. Kumar while interacting with media persons here said that speculations on his switching over to national politics had no basis. All constituents of NDA were working well in coordination with one another, he remarked while making an oblique reference to the good relation of his party JD(U) with coalition partner BJP. ” I had strong desire to visit and meet people of my old constituency and Nalanda district but it could not be possible due to third wave of Corona”, Chief Minister said adding that he had been visiting the area and interacting with people in past few days. It was a pleasure for him to interact with people and try to solve their problems, he added. Kumar said that he had been working for the welfare and development of the people of entire Bihar. It was just his interaction with people and nothing more could be read into it, he further said and added that people should ignore all specifications over his directly interacting with people. Chief Minister to a query on Namami Ganga project, said that all efforts were being made to clean Ganga water. A huge investment was required and it would take time to clean Ganga water to the desired level, he added. An attempt was also being made to supply Ganga water for drinking to maintain groundwater level, he further added. Kumar said that the project to supply Ganga water for drinking through pipe in water-scarce Bodh Gaya, Gaya, Rajgir and Nawada would be completed soon. Ganga water would be taken to these areas during Monsoon, he pointed out. Chief Minister, responding to a query on caste census, said he had talked to all on the issue in NDA.
