Bengaluru, May 6: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Karnataka has officially announced the recruitment of 84 faculty positions across various departments. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for these vacancies.

Among the 84 positions, there are 82 Assistant Professors, 1 Associate Professor, and 1 Professor. The online application process commenced on May 4 at 4:00 PM, and the last date to apply is set for June 2. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official website before the deadline.

Applicants must hold a first-class graduation and post-graduation degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution or university, along with a Ph.D. in the desired specialization.

Selection of qualified candidates will be based on application screening, shortlisting, interviews, presentations, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from level 10 to 14A as per the 7th CPC, along with additional benefits and allowances.

Candidates filling out the application form must pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is set at ₹2,500 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹1,250 for SC/ST and differently-abled candidates.

To apply online, candidates should first visit the official NIT Karnataka website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, submit the form. Finally, print a copy of the application for future reference.
