
New Delhi, March 12: Millions of young people in the country dream of securing a government job. If you are among them, the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Limited has released an official notification for the recruitment of 72 Trainee Engineer positions. This announcement was made on Thursday.
The online application process for these vacancies will begin on March 16 at 10 AM, with the last date for applications set for April 6. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application forms until 5 PM on the closing date, once the relevant link on the official website becomes active.
The available positions include 11 Trainee Engineers (Civil), 35 Trainee Engineers (Electrical), and 26 Trainee Engineers (Mechanical). Candidates must hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution or university, along with other specified eligibility criteria.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee online, which is set at ₹708 for OBC (NCL) candidates. Other categories may receive a fee waiver.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years, with age relaxation applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on GATE scores, group discussions, personal interviews, psychometric assessments, and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a salary ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹1,60,000 per month.
To apply online, candidates should visit the official NHPC website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active link related to the advertised positions. Register and log in, then fill in all required information in the form. Upload all requested documents, photos, and signatures in the correct size and format. Pay the application fee, review the form, and submit it. Finally, print the application form for future reference.
