Hero MotoCorp Unveils Updated Passion Plus for 2025

Hero MotoCorp, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the 2025 model of its iconic commuter bike, Passion Plus. The new version comes with an updated OBD-2B-compliant engine to align with the latest emission standards, offering improved fuel efficiency, better performance, and lower emissions. Designed for daily use and budget-conscious consumers, the bike continues to be a value-for-money option in the entry-level segment.

Upgraded Design and Practical Features

The 2025 Passion Plus retains its practical, commuter-friendly design while introducing new aesthetics. It is now available in four updated color options: Black Heavy Gray and Black Nexus Blue, replacing the previous palette. The bike’s dimensions include a length of 1,982mm, width of 770mm, and height of 1,087mm, with a wheelbase of 1235mm and ground clearance of 168mm.

The new Passion Plus is built on a durable double cradle frame and features Integrated Braking System (IBS), telescopic front fork, utility box, and mobile charging port. Weighing just 115 kg with an 11-liter fuel tank and a seat height of 790mm, it is ergonomically suited for urban commutes and family riders.

Engine Specs and Pricing

Powering the new Hero Passion Plus is a 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine equipped with fuel injection and OBD-2B compliance. It delivers 7.91 bhp and 8.05 Nm torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch. Drum brakes and 18-inch wheels provide a stable and safe riding experience.

Priced at ₹82,016 (ex-showroom), the 2025 Passion Plus is offered in a single variant (i3S Drum Self Start Alloy). Its affordability, combined with reliability and compliance with modern emission standards, makes it an appealing choice for first-time buyers and those seeking an economical commuting solution.
