Jodhpur, 18 August (Kiran News): North Western Railway has approved new stoppages for 17 pairs of trains at a total of 25 railway stations under Jodhpur Division, effective immediately. This decision comes in response to longstanding passenger demand and will provide significant relief, especially during the monsoon and festive season. Notably, the highest number of trains—nine pairs—will now halt at Luni Junction. Several trains, including the Jodhpur-Abohar Express and Jodhpur-Bhopal Express, will start stopping at new stations.
Details of Major Train Halts and Schedules
According to Jodhpur Division DRM Anurag Tripathi,
The Jodhpur-Abohar-Jodhpur Express will get new halts at six stations, and the Jodhpur-Bhopal-Jodhpur Express at four stations.
The Bikaner-Bilaspur Express will be permitted a new stop at Deshnok station.
DRM Tripathi expressed gratitude to North Western Railway General Manager Amitabh for approving these additional stoppages.
