Jerusalem, September 25 (Udaipur Kiran News): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday reaffirmed that both military and diplomatic efforts are ongoing to defeat Hamas and secure the release of hostages held in Gaza.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu assured the family of Alon Ohel — who remains captive in Gaza — that the government is committed to bringing all hostages back home.
Alon’s father, Kobi Ohel, expressed hope that the Prime Minister would return from his US visit with positive news. “This trip is a moment when all ministers must support and strengthen the Prime Minister so he can take decisive steps for the release of Alon and all other hostages,” he said.
Netanyahu is currently on a visit to the United States, where he is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on Friday. He is also set to meet with US President Donald Trump, with hostage release expected to be a key topic of discussion.
The Hostage Families Forum, representing families of those held in Gaza, also voiced optimism that Netanyahu’s visit could mark a turning point toward resolving the crisis.
