Neetu Chandra Seeks Meaningful Roles Amid Hollywood Journey

Mumbai, April 27: Actress Neetu Chandra, who has made her way from a simple girl in Bihar to Hollywood, is now on the lookout for quality films. She has dismissed rumors of taking a break from acting, stating that finding good projects takes time.

Known for her roles in films like “Garam Masala,” “Traffic Signal,” and “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!,” Neetu openly discussed her journey from Bihar to Bollywood and then to Hollywood in an interview. She emphasized that her focus has always been on meaningful work rather than the superficial glitz of stardom.

Addressing the speculation about her taking a break, she clarified, “I haven’t taken any break. I am always on the lookout for good films.” She added, “You cannot imagine how long it took for a girl from a simple background in Bihar to reach Hollywood.”

Reflecting on her journey, Neetu said, “Today, I find myself back in a position where I can connect with all of you again. I don’t have time for ‘airport looks.’ My focus is on my next project. I take my time in choosing the right work to bring something meaningful to my audience.”

Discussing her struggles, Neetu remarked, “It takes a lot of time. You must understand that it takes courage to stand alone. Traveling the world and reaching this point as a girl from a middle-class joint family is not easy.”

The actress stated that her purpose in life and work has always been clear. “My goal has always been to keep doing good work and to continue receiving the love of my audience. It is this love that has brought me here.”

Neetu Chandra is set to share the screen with Sanjay Dutt in her upcoming film “Khalnayak 2.”
