Actress Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra will be seen together in the upcoming film Vadh-2. Recently, Neena Gupta shared her thoughts on the debates that often happen between actors and directors in the film industry today.
In a conversation, she explained that nowadays actors openly argue and sometimes correct directors, but during her time, the atmosphere was different.
She recalled, “Once, I gathered enough courage to tell the director that there was something wrong with the dialogue. The director then told me to quietly go to my room and focus on the dialogue.”
Neena Gupta said a senior actor advised her that while she was only concerned about her dialogues, the director was responsible for the entire film. She added, “That’s why we used to do exactly as the director told us.”
Vadh-2 is a crime thriller-mystery written and directed by Jaspal Singh. The film’s trailer has already been released, and its story revolves around solving a missing person case, keeping the audience engaged till the end.
The film, produced under the banner of Love Films, is set to release in theatres on February 6. The trailer suggests it will be a thrilling, mysterious, and emotionally strong movie.
Producers Love Ranjan and Ankur Garg have assembled a talented cast including Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Amit K. Singh, Akshay Dogra, Shilpa Shukla, and Yogita Bihani.
Before its theatrical release, Vadh-2 was premiered at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), where it received much appreciation.
