
Patna, May 8: Following the formation of the new cabinet and the allocation of departments in Bihar, NDA leaders have outlined the government’s priorities and responsibilities. Ministers assert that the main goal is to deliver services to the public and accelerate development in Bihar.
Bihar’s Minister Dilip Jaiswal stated that the NDA is a strong and united coalition. He emphasized that everyone in the NDA government is dedicated to public welfare. Jaiswal mentioned that under Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership, the Bihar government’s team has been expanded, and he has been assigned the new responsibility of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department.
He noted that he will assume his new role today. After taking charge of the department, the government aims to ensure that every individual in Bihar receives government services at their doorstep and that justice is guaranteed for all.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP and JD(U) Executive National President Sanjay Jha described the new cabinet as balanced, highlighting that it includes adequate representation for women, youth, and experienced leaders. He stated that the voting process was completed yesterday, and the cabinet was formed the same evening. Starting today, the entire government will work with full capacity based on the mandate received in 2025 for Bihar’s development.
JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar also commented on the cabinet formation. He stated that the expansion of the cabinet is the Chief Minister’s prerogative and that the allocation of departments among NDA coalition partners is based on decisions made by the top leadership.
Regarding Nishant Kumar’s swearing-in as a minister, Neeraj Kumar mentioned that he entered active politics at the request of the party’s national leadership. Following this, the party directed him to join the council of ministers, and he is now fulfilling his responsibilities as a minister.
