Mumbai, May 9: Supriya Sule, the executive president of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction), was involved in a car accident on Saturday. Fortunately, Sule and all passengers in her vehicle are safe. She shared this information herself.
On social media platform X, Supriya Sule wrote, “Today, while traveling from Pune to Mumbai, I had a very unfortunate experience on the highway. A driver recklessly collided with my car from the side. Thankfully, everyone is safe.”
Such incidents serve as a serious reminder that speeding and negligence on our roads can put countless lives at risk. I urge everyone to wear seat belts, stay alert, and drive responsibly to ensure our highways are safe for all.”
On Saturday, Supriya Sule attended the ‘Karmveer Punyatithi Program’ held in Satara to commemorate the death anniversary of Karmveer Bhaurao Patil.
She also mentioned on X, “During the event, the autobiography ‘Karmveeranche Sangati’ (Companions of the Karmaveers) written by Advocate B.N. Nalawade, along with ‘Rayat Vigyan Patrika’, ‘Rayat Masik’, and the ‘Educational Quality Enhancement Scheme’, were formally launched. Additionally, individuals who made exceptional contributions to providing educational facilities and enhancing student qualifications for the Rayat Educational Institution were honored.”
Just a day earlier, Supriya Sule stated that if Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar becomes Chief Minister, she would be the first to adorn her with a garland. However, she added that it is uncertain which party will hold what position in the 2029 elections. This comment was in response to a statement made by NCP youth leader Jay Pawar, who expressed that the people of Baramati wish to see Sunetra Pawar as Chief Minister in 2029.
