Navsari, July 28: In the city of Navsari, Gujarat, residents no longer need to wander around for solutions to issues like broken roads, sanitation, drinking water, streetlights, tree trimming, flooding, and drainage. This transformation is thanks to the Comprehensive Complaint Redressal System (CCRS) app, launched by the Navsari Municipal Corporation for online registration, resolution, and monitoring of citizen complaints. Initiated as a pilot project in January 2026, this app has streamlined the complaint resolution process significantly.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the municipal administration aims to make Navsari cleaner, more convenient, and citizen-centric. The CCRS system is built on modern technology and a robust administrative framework, enhancing transparency and effectiveness in the complaint handling process. So far, over 4,000 complaints have been registered through the CCRS. Upon registration, a dedicated mobile response team from the municipal corporation promptly addresses these complaints. This has not only reduced response times but has also led to 85% of complaints being resolved on the same day.
Local resident Ashokbhai Rathod shared, “If you have any complaint, whether it’s a water leak, drainage issue, lighting problem, or a pothole, just upload a photo on this app. The municipal corporation resolves it within 48 hours.”
Another resident, Antariksh Parmar, praised the application, stating, “The app initiated by the Navsari Municipal Corporation is excellent and commendable. We receive results for our complaints within 48 hours.”
Navsari Municipal Commissioner Dev Chaudhary emphasized, “We have established a strong system. We resolve any registered complaint within 48 hours as per our SLA period. So far this year, we have addressed 85% of over 4,000 complaints within 48 hours.”
This digital platform for officially registering complaints from home has significantly alleviated the troubles of Navsari’s citizens. The swift, transparent, and technology-driven complaint redressal system of the Navsari Municipal Corporation has emerged as an exemplary model for other municipal corporations in Gujarat.
