Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Criticizes TMC Government Over Violence in West Bengal

New Delhi, May 7: Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has raised concerns about the murder of Suvendu Adhikari’s PA in West Bengal, targeting the TMC government. He stated that democracy cannot be held hostage through violence and oppression. If democracy is disrespected, the public will never grant a mandate.

In an interview with a news agency in New Delhi, Naqvi emphasized that no one can tarnish or hold the power of the republic hostage through thuggery. Those attempting to stain and suppress the strength of the republic through chaos must understand that no matter how dark the night, dawn will always arrive. The heavier the night, the more splendid the morning will be.

Naqvi accused the TMC of creating an atmosphere of fear and confusion through oppression, thuggery, vandalism, and mass killings, asserting that such tactics will never succeed.

He warned that if respect for the people is lacking, the public will also question their leaders. Naqvi also took a jab at some opposition leaders who have been visiting West Bengal to console TMC leaders.

The BJP leader remarked that if mutual disrespect continues without addressing deceit and social discrimination, it will yield no benefit.

Naqvi condemned the disrespect towards the public mandate, stating that if democracy is insulted, the people will never grant a mandate again.

He praised the security forces under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, referencing ‘Operation Sindoor.’ He noted that the forces have given a strong response to the perpetrators of atrocities and crimes, which is a matter of pride for India. This message is not only for terrorists but also for their patrons and masters.

Regarding the Vande Mataram controversy, Naqvi mentioned that some individuals are portraying it as anti-Islam. He pointed out that many have sacrificed their lives for singing Vande Mataram. Today, some claim they would refuse to sing it even if faced with execution. This highlights the stark difference in mindset among our national leaders.
