
Aizawl, June 7: The Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced a recruitment notification for 10 positions under direct recruitment in the Horticulture and Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Department. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply, with the deadline set for June 12.
The vacancies include five positions for Senior Horticulture Demonstrators and five for Subordinate Agriculture Service (SAS-I). Notably, one position in each category is reserved for persons with disabilities.
The online application process commenced on May 5. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form are advised to submit their registration by 4 PM on the last date.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture for the Senior Horticulture Demonstrator role and a degree in Agriculture for the Subordinate Agriculture Service position from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in computer skills and the Mizo language.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, personal interview, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary according to Level 7 of the pay matrix.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 35 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official MPSC website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all the required information in the form.
Upload all requested documents in the correct size. Pay the registration fee (if applicable). Finally, review the form and submit it. It is advisable to print a copy of the application for future reference. Candidates should note that the syllabus for the examination for the respective positions is available for download on the commission’s official website.
