Mumbai, May 17: Renowned Hindi cinema actor Jeetendra is celebrated for his powerful performances, hard work, and vibrant energy. His legacy continues to intrigue fans, and veteran actress Moushumi Chatterjee recently shared anecdotes about him.
During an appearance on the popular show “The Kapil Sharma Show,” Chatterjee reminisced about her experiences working with Jeetendra. She highlighted his remarkable discipline, noting that he would arrive fully prepared an hour before shooting began.
Chatterjee humorously remarked that Jeetendra was known as the “producer’s man” because he never took his work lightly. She recalled, “If a shoot was scheduled for 9:30 AM, Jeetendra would be ready and on set by 8:30 AM. He would encourage other cast members and crew to be punctual as well, urging them to get ready quickly so that shooting could start on time.”
Reena Roy, another actress present, praised Jeetendra’s commitment. She mentioned that even during outdoor shoots, he was always the first to be ready. He would call the hotel reception to wake up fellow actors, reminding them to hurry for the outdoor shoot.
Chatterjee emphasized that Jeetendra’s longevity in the film industry was due to his dedication and punctuality. “Not every actor was like that during our time. Some would arrive late at their convenience, causing delays in shooting,” she added.
