Motorola appears to be shaking things up with its upcoming Moto G86. Just ahead of its anticipated launch, the first leaked renders of the smartphone have surfaced, revealing a surprisingly sleek and premium design that aligns closely with the company’s Edge series.

Edge-Inspired Design Language

The leaked renders show that Motorola is blurring the lines between its G-series mid-rangers and higher-end Edge devices. Most noticeably, the Moto G86’s rear camera island is strikingly similar to the one seen on the Edge 60 Fusion, suggesting a unified design approach across product lines.

In addition, the handset features a flat display with relatively slim bezels, though the top and bottom bezels appear slightly thicker than the sides. The G86 is expected to be available in at least two color variants — a vibrant purple with a fabric-textured back and a more classic dark blue finish with faux leather, offering a premium feel at an accessible price point.

The Moto G86 will feature a 50MP main camera powered by an unspecified Sony Lytia sensor and equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), promising better stability for photography and video capture.
