Mona Singh Shares Life Lessons from ‘Kohra 2’

Mumbai: Actress Mona Singh has revealed the profound life lessons she learned while working on the second season of the web series ‘Kohra’. Speaking about her experience, Mona said the project was not just a new role but also deeply connected to her personal life.

“For me, ‘Kohra 2’ was more than just a character. It helped me understand the sensitivity of human beings and how everyone quietly fights their own battles. Working on this series made me realise that controlling everything is neither possible nor necessary,” Mona shared.

She added, “The biggest lesson I took from this series is that sometimes letting go is the right path. Holding on to things, circumstances, or emotions that no longer matter only causes pain. Accepting situations as they are and moving forward is the key to mental peace. This has been the most valuable takeaway from the series for me.”

In ‘Kohra 2’, Mona Singh’s entry brings a fresh twist to the story. The season promises a deeper, darker, and more mysterious narrative. Alongside Mona, actors Barun Sobti and Ranvijay Singh play significant roles.

The story progresses from Jagrana to Dalerpura, where the atmosphere becomes even more intense and enigmatic. ASI Amarpal Garundi is transferred to the Dalerpura Police Station, marking a turning point in the plot. Mona plays Dhanwant Kaur, the new commanding officer of Garundi. Though their working styles and thinking differ, both share a common goal – to uncover the truth.

As they peel back the layers of a murder case, hidden secrets from their pasts also come to light. Set against the backdrop of Punjab, the narrative unfolds at a deliberate pace but leaves a strong impact at every turn.

The second season of ‘Kohra’ is set to stream on Netflix from 11 February.
