New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will commence the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) election campaign in Tamil Nadu with a large public rally in Madurantakam on Friday. The event marks the first major NDA gathering ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections.

The Tamil Nadu BJP unit welcomed the Prime Minister on the social media platform X, stating, “We welcome our Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming to Tamil Nadu to campaign for the National Democratic Alliance.”

Union Minister and BJP election in-charge Piyush Goyal highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the NDA public meeting at Madurantakam in Chengalpattu. This marks the launch of the NDA’s election campaign in Tamil Nadu under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Modi and Edappadi K. Palaniswami.”
