Aizawl, May 1: A significant opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to join the government sector. The Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC) has issued an official notification announcing vacancies for a total of 25 positions under the Junior Category of the Mizoram Health Service (Combined Competitive Examination) 2026. This includes posts for the Dental Surgeon sub-cadre within the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The recruitment includes 5 positions for the Dental Surgeon sub-cadre and 20 positions for the General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) sub-cadre. The online application process commenced on April 20 and will close on May 20. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms on the official website until 4:00 PM on the last date.
Candidates applying for the Dental Surgeon sub-cadre must possess a BDS degree from a recognized university or institution, along with permanent registration from the national or state council. For the GDMO sub-cadre, applicants are required to have an MBBS degree and must have completed a rotating internship. Additionally, candidates for both positions must demonstrate computer proficiency, fluency in the Mizo language, and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The minimum age for candidates is set at 21 years, while the maximum age is 35 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the Combined Competitive Examination, skill tests, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary according to Level 10 of the pay matrix.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official Mizoram PSC website. After reaching the homepage, click on the official notification link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the application form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. Finally, review the registration form and submit it.
