Pune, April 22 ( ) Maharashtra Power Minister Nitin Raut on Friday blamed the Centre for load shedding in the state, saying New Delhi’s coal planning has failed. He appealed to the people to bear load shedding of 1,400-1,500 MW due to power shortage. He told the media that the Adani Power Co had cut off power supply to MSEDCL, which had created a power crisis in the state. The Centre’s coal planning has failed, he said. “Moreover, the Coal Ministry does not have proper cooperation with the Railway Ministry.” On coal shortage, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who also met the media, said various states were not getting enough coal supply.
