Minister AK Sharma Inspects Flood Relief Efforts in Lucknow, Urges Immediate Action

Lucknow, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : Lucknow’s flood-affected areas received a crucial inspection from Municipal Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma on Saturday. During his visit to the Faizullaganj-Daudnagar region, he met with impacted families, listened to their concerns, and distributed relief supplies.

Sharma stressed the importance of ensuring that affected individuals receive adequate food, clean drinking water, medications, and other essential services during this crisis. He reviewed the current state of relief operations and demanded that immediate assistance be provided based on the needs of the families.

During his inspection, the minister emphasized that there must be no negligence in the relief and rescue efforts. He insisted that local authorities prioritize resolving the issues faced by the residents. “Delivering every necessary aid to flood-affected families is the government’s top priority,” he stated. He urged officials to remain active in the region and continuously monitor the situation to ensure timely relief for those in need.

Sharma also inspected the relief camps set up for the affected individuals, assessing the facilities and medical arrangements available. He instructed health department teams and relevant officials to guarantee an adequate supply of medicines and medical services at these camps.

Additionally, he highlighted the need to maintain cleanliness in the affected areas to prevent the spread of diseases due to waterlogging. The minister assured that the residents in the relief camps should not face any inconvenience and that their health needs would be given special attention.

During his visit, Sharma distributed relief materials to affected families and engaged with local residents to understand their problems. Many expressed gratitude towards the minister and the government for the assistance provided. He directed officials to ensure that the availability of relief supplies and daily necessities aligns with the requirements of the impacted families.
