New Delhi, April 28: New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel is back with the team. According to Phil Perry from NBC Sports Boston, Vrabel returned to the office on Monday after missing Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. He sought counseling due to a controversy involving Dianna Russini, a former reporter for The Athletic.
Photos surfaced showing Vrabel and Russini, both married, at a luxury resort in Arizona, where they were seen holding hands and embracing. In Vrabel’s absence, executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf and vice president of player personnel Ryan Cowden managed the draft room.
Vrabel attended Days 1 and 2 of the draft but chose to prioritize family and seek counseling instead of being present on Day 3.
“My priorities are my family and this football team,” Vrabel stated last week. “In that order.”
Vrabel returns to the office after the Patriots completed their draft selections and signed several undrafted free agents following the event.
