Mary Kom’s Ex-Husband Onler Responds to Fraud Allegations, Reveals Affair Claims

New Delhi: Former world champion boxer Mary Kom is currently in the spotlight due to personal life controversies. Recently, Mary Kom accused her ex-husband Onler Kom of fraud. In response, Onler has denied these allegations and shared his side of the story in an exclusive conversation.

Onler Kom called the accusations false and claimed that Mary Kom was involved in a relationship with another person while still married. He revealed that their marital problems have existed for over a decade. According to Onler, Mary Kom had an affair with a junior boxer as early as 2013. Since 2017, she has reportedly been in a relationship with someone associated with the Mary Kom Boxing Academy. He stated, “I have WhatsApp messages as proof but chose to remain silent. I have no objection to her moving on, but I cannot accept being blamed publicly.”

Onler added that Mary Kom wanted to be alone and pursue a new relationship. He acknowledged their divorce but asserted, “If she wants a second husband, I have no problem, but she should not blame me without evidence. I know where she lives and with whom.”

Regarding the financial fraud allegations, Onler rejected claims of having significant wealth or stealing money. He challenged Mary Kom to check his bank account and said, “We were together for 18 years after marriage. Now she has gone mad. Look at my home, I live in a rented house in Delhi. She is a celebrity and people listen to whatever she says.”

Onler also mentioned removing his wedding ring as a symbol of broken trust. He accused Mary Kom of taking the matter to a local court, claiming he took loans and stole property. He invited her to produce proof if the property is registered in his name and stated that he prefers not to engage in a court battle, as he loves their children.

He expressed hurt over the allegations, saying, “I supported her through various phases of her career and personal life. These accusations have deeply hurt me. I can forgive but never forget what happened. I was involved in starting and registering her boxing academy in Delhi since 2013. Now someone else is chairman, whose name I won’t mention.”

Onler expressed his desire to meet their sons who live in a boarding school, emphasizing, “They are my blood. This is about a husband-wife relationship—no one is perfect. She accused me of drinking, but she has also consumed vodka and rum and even used gutka. I have evidence for everything I say.”

The couple married in 2005 and has four children. Their divorce was finalized in 2023, with court proceedings still ongoing.
