Manoj Kumar Pandey Responds to Akhilesh Yadavs Criticism on Department Allocation Delay in UP

Lucknow, May 17: The delay in the allocation of departments following the expansion of the Uttar Pradesh government cabinet has drawn criticism from the Samajwadi Party (SP). In response, Minister Manoj Kumar Pandey stated that the decision rests with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Uttar Pradesh government, not the SP.

Pandey launched a sharp attack on the SP, urging the party to protect the public from the “rampaging bulls” that are encroaching on people’s homes and land. He accused the SP of previously insulting the Patel community and now disrespecting the Brahmin community.

He emphasized that riding a bicycle has been a tradition, but it does not equate to voting for the SP. “We also ride bicycles, and so do officials. Riding a bicycle does not mean one supports the Samajwadi Party or intends to vote for them,” he remarked.

Pandey mentioned that his team has reduced the number of vehicles in their convoy, questioning when Akhilesh Yadav would do the same. “The Prime Minister does not belong to one individual; the country is not owned by one person. When it comes to the nation, we must stand united,” he added.

Akhilesh Yadav, the SP chief, had previously questioned the delay in department allocation, sarcastically asking on social media if the ‘slips’ for their departments would also come from above. He suggested that the real reason for the delay lies in the conflicting interests of the ‘commission earnings’ from the ministries. Newly appointed ministers are left as mere spectators, watching the ball move back and forth.

Yadav further claimed that the BJP government is aware that this is their last term in power, which is why they are eager to amass wealth. He asserted that the aware public will not allow the BJP to succeed in their corrupt intentions.

Meanwhile, Awadhesh Prasad, an SP MP from Ayodhya, stated that only Yogi Adityanath can explain why the department allocation is stalled. He suggested that the issue might be stuck in Delhi or Lucknow, and only the Chief Minister can clarify.

He concluded by urging the public to support their party, asserting that once Akhilesh Yadav becomes Chief Minister, the allocation of ministerial departments will proceed smoothly. Perhaps, he speculated, Chief Minister Yogi is not receiving the freedom he needs, which could be causing the delay.
