Mumbai, February 25: Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande has commented on Prime Minister Modi’s recent two-day visit to Israel, stating that he always brings something beneficial back for India from his trips. In contrast, she accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of tarnishing the country’s image during his foreign travels.
In a conversation in Mumbai, Kayande emphasized that while PM Modi works towards the nation’s progress, opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi seem focused on damaging India’s reputation. She believes the public has recognized that Gandhi’s actions are aimed solely at discrediting the country. “Rahul Gandhi is now completely exposed,” she remarked, adding that PM Modi’s influence extends beyond India, positioning him as a global leader.
Regarding former U.S. President Trump’s controversial statement about Pakistan, Kayande expressed skepticism about Trump’s reliability. She urged him to stop spreading misleading and baseless statements that confuse the world.
On the topic of cricket, specifically the inclusion of players Mohammad Siraj and Mohammad Shami in the T20 World Cup, Kayande stated that she does not consider herself an expert in the sport. However, she mentioned that it is up to organizations like the BCCI to address any concerns regarding player selections.
The demand for including Siraj and Shami in the T20 World Cup has gained momentum, especially after India’s challenging match against South Africa, which has complicated their path to the semifinals.
