Male Skeleton Found in Nahargarh Hills: 70% of Body Eaten by Animals

Jaipur, 16 August (Kiran News). Sensation spread on Saturday after a male skeleton was found in the hills of Nahargarh, located in the Nahargarh police station area of Jaipur. According to information, the skeleton was lying in a hundred-foot-deep gorge and was discovered by youths visiting the area, who then informed the police. The skeleton is estimated to be about a month old, with nearly seventy percent of the body consumed by animals. Police, along with Civil Defence and FSL teams, recovered the skeleton and collected evidence. The matter is currently under investigation.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur North, Bajrang Singh Shekhawat, said that the skeleton was spotted by youths near the hill close to Narsingh Colony in Nahargarh area during their morning walk. Upon receiving the information, a police team was dispatched to the spot. Civil Defence and FSL teams were also informed and assisted in collecting evidence from the scene.

Shekhawat stated that identification efforts are underway based on the clothing found with the skeleton, which included pants, a shirt, and new shoes. About seventy percent of the flesh had been eaten by wild animals. Only the skull, teeth, bones of the legs and hands, jeans, shirt, and shoes were found at the spot. After examination by a team of doctors, the skeleton was sent to the mortuary. According to the police, if the deceased was accompanied by someone, information about their disappearance would have been reported. Both Nahargarh and Brahmpuri police stations are working on the case. No further information has come to light so far. DNA sampling will be conducted for further investigation.
