Beed, Mar 10 : The District Guardian Minister Dhananjay Munde on Thursday appealed to the farmers to make online complaints to crop insurance companies in case of loss of their rabbi crops as IMD has predicted unseasonal rains and winds till March 11 in the district. In an official statement, Mr Munde stated that,IMD has predicted light to moderate rains with high winds are expected in the state and some parts of Beed district upto March 11. However, proper management of crops should be done in a safe pace after harvest. Harvesting should be planned under the guidance of meteorologists. In case of loss of water due to local natural calamity of crops during this period, the farmers who have paid crop insurance in Rabbi 2021-22 should submit the advance notice of loss to the crop insurance company within 72 hours and informed to taluka insurance representative toll free number as well as link is provided,he added. Notably, due to unseasonal rains in different parts in state since last two days, standing crop, horticulture gardens were damaged at many places across the state. VKB SY 1524
