New Delhi, February 22: The Delhi Police has made significant revelations regarding six suspects arrested in Tamil Nadu. They were allegedly plotting a major terrorist attack with the backing of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, and Bangladeshi terrorist organizations. Among the arrested individuals are citizens of Bangladesh. The police recovered dozens of mobile phones and SIM cards from their possession.

According to the Delhi Police, the suspects were posting content on social media in support of Pakistan-based terrorist organizations. Two suspects were apprehended in Uthukuli, three in Palladam, and one from the Tirumuruganpoondi area.

It has come to light that the suspects concealed their identities and worked in the garment industry using fake Aadhaar cards. Police sources indicate that these suspects, reportedly acting as accomplices to terrorists, conducted reconnaissance in several cities. They also put up “Free Kashmir” posters in Delhi and were involved in other suspicious activities.

Initial investigations revealed that the recovered mobile phones were allegedly used to share content supporting banned terrorist organizations and maintain contact with suspicious handlers. However, communication records have been sent for forensic analysis to identify potential links to larger networks.

The Delhi Police stated that these arrests were made following specific intelligence inputs regarding inflammatory online activities and suspected communications with radical individuals operating across borders. Raids were conducted at various locations in Tamil Nadu, leading to the suspects’ capture. They have been identified as Mizanur Rahman, Mohammad Shabat, Umar, Mohammad Litan, Mohammad Shahid, and Mohammad Ujjal.

So far, a total of eight arrests have been made in this terrorist module. Recently, two suspects were also apprehended by the Delhi Police in West Bengal.

Currently, the Delhi Police has brought all the suspects to the capital following their arrest in Tamil Nadu. Interrogations are expected to take place, which may lead to further revelations.
