
Raipur, May 1: Candidates preparing for the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) have received encouraging news. In response to the demands of the candidates, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s government made a significant decision on Friday. The Chhattisgarh government has prioritized the requests of candidates by changing the dates for the State Service Main Exam 2025.
The CGPSC will now conduct the exam from June 6 to June 9, 2026, providing candidates with a better opportunity for preparation. Previously, the exam was scheduled for May 16 to May 19, 2026.
According to the revised schedule released by CGPSC, the written examinations for the State Service Main Exam 2025 will now take place on June 6, 7, 8, and 9 instead of May 16, 17, 18, and 19. The exams will be held at designated centers in districts such as Surguja (Ambikapur), Bilaspur, Durg, Bastar (Jagdalpur), and Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
The State Service Main Exam 2025 will be conducted in two shifts on the same day. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On June 6, the language exam will take place in the first shift, followed by the essay writing paper in the second shift.
On June 7, the General Studies-1 paper will be held in the first shift, and the General Studies-II paper will be in the second shift. The General Studies-III paper will be conducted on June 8 in the first shift, while the General Studies-IV paper will be in the second shift. On the final day, June 9, the General Studies-V paper will be held in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The commission’s office will issue admit cards ten days prior to the exam date. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of the commission. It is important to note that the commission will not send separate notifications or SMS regarding the issuance of admit cards to any candidate.
