Major Announcement for December 6 in Mathura During Dussehra Celebrations
Dussehra festivities include a significant declaration in Mathura to demolish a proposed structure near the Krishna temple on December 6.

Mathura, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Dussehra celebrations are being held with great enthusiasm across the country. In Mathura, a significant announcement has emerged from Dr. Swami Sachchidanand Maharaj, the head of the Chitragupt Peeth. He has declared that on December 6, a ceremony will take place to demolish a proposed structure near the Krishna temple. This will coincide with the rituals of Vijayadashami, during which tools like hammers, chisels, iron rods, and spades will be worshipped.
In an interview, Dr. Sachchidanand Maharaj stated, “Both weapons and tools are being worshipped. Among the items offered are large hammers, mallets, chisels, and spades. The time is drawing near. We are resolved to bring down the dome on December 6. The reason for worshipping the spades is that as the hammers strike, debris will fall. When the debris falls, it will be cleared with the spades. We will continue to clean up immediately because we do not want to leave any trace of Aurangzeb.”
Meanwhile, in Ayodhya, Iqbal Ansari, a former litigant in the Babri Masjid case, extended his best wishes to the nation on Dussehra. He remarked, “Dussehra and Navratri are very auspicious occasions. I congratulate all the people of the country and thank them. Our nation is blessed by the grace of deities, and it is believed that on this day, Lord Ram defeated Ravana, marking the beginning of Ram Rajya. People across the country honor Lord Ram. Today is a day of great joy, and I thank everyone on this occasion.”
In Jammu and Kashmir, Vijayadashami was celebrated with great fervor as well. A member of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad shared, “On this holy occasion of Vijayadashami, I extend heartfelt wishes and congratulations on behalf of the entire Vishwa Hindu Parishad. As you know, this festival symbolizes the victory of righteousness over unrighteousness and the destruction of evil. In our Sanatan Dharma, Vijayadashami is celebrated every year to commemorate the triumph of righteousness.”
