Patna, February 26: BJP legislator Maithili Thakur expressed her delight at Prime Minister Modi reaching 100 million followers on Instagram. She stated, “PM Modi is an influencer among influencers, and I am very impressed by him.” Thakur noted that he is the first leader to achieve such a milestone on the platform, even inspiring other influencers, including herself.
In a conversation in Patna, Thakur emphasized the importance of having a visionary Prime Minister leading the country.
Commenting on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referring to PM Modi as ‘brother,’ Thakur remarked that Modi’s energy and presence are evident wherever he goes. She also mentioned watching his recent visit to Israel, which she found impressive.
Regarding Union Home Minister Amit Shah‘s visit to Bihar, Thakur stated that he is actively engaged in his work. “I have read about it. Amit Shah is meeting with the DM, SSP, SP, and other officials, focusing on his responsibilities,” she added.
On the review of the liquor ban law, Thakur explained that discussions occur during assembly sessions, where they observe who is saying what.
Addressing opposition claims about law and order, she stated that discussions happen within the assembly, where the opposition presents its views.
Reflecting on the assembly session, Thakur expressed her surprise at her ability to participate effectively. She aims to raise her constituents’ concerns in the house. “When I learn about people’s issues, I decide overnight to prioritize them in the assembly the next day. It resonates well with the public when their issues are addressed,” she concluded.
