Maharashtra reports 130 fresh Covid cases, 4 deaths

Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 9 : Maharashtra reported 130 fresh cases of Covid-19 cases and four related deaths, according to health bulletin on Saturday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,74,948 and the death toll has gone up to 1,47,810. Meanwhile, 142 patients were cured and discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,26,326. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate was at 1.87 per cent . Presently, 812 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the state, the bulletin added. While the Marathwada region of state reported only three positive cases, one each in Aurangabad, Beed and Jalna district. Rest of five districts did not report any new Covid cases, the bulletin further added. VKB ACL0743
