Maharashtra Police File FIR Against Individual Selling Child Exploitation Materials

Mumbai, June 4: The Maharashtra Cyber Police have filed a zero FIR against an individual involved in selling materials related to child sexual exploitation. The accused has been summoned for questioning.

Authorities are working to determine how long the suspect has been engaged in these activities. The police have made it clear that such actions will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict action will be taken against the offender. However, it is essential to gather detailed information about the case before proceeding. Consequently, the police are investigating various aspects related to the matter.

Reports indicate that the police learned about the suspect through Telegram. Following this, a zero FIR was registered against him. Law enforcement has seized a device believed to be used for selling child exploitation materials. They are currently examining the suspect’s mobile phone to uncover its usage history.

Given the seriousness of the case, it has been forwarded to the NRI Police Station in Navi Mumbai.
