Maha logs 137 new Covid cases

Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 20 : Maharashtra has recorded 137 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Wednesday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,76,141 and the death toll remain to 1,47,830. Meanwhile, 108 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,27,551. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent . Presently, 660 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals , the bulletin added. Meanwhile ,3 positive cases including 2 in Beed district and single case in Aurangabad district reported in Marathwada region. While, no one positive patients reported in the rest of six districts in the region, the bulletin further added. VKB GNK
