
Bhopal, May 14: The 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship 2026, organized by the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy, took place successfully on Thursday. The event featured the Women’s 50 Meter Rifle 3 Position competition.
This prestigious national-level championship attracted female shooters from across the country, showcasing exceptional technical skills, patience, and concentration. The athletes from the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy delivered outstanding performances, bringing pride to the state.

In the Youth Women’s category of the 50 Meter Rifle 3 Position event, talented shooter Pratha Rathore from the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy won the gold medal. She also secured a silver medal in the junior category, demonstrating her impressive skills. In the senior category, Pratha finished in sixth place, showcasing her balanced and effective shooting throughout the competition.
Another promising athlete, Kum. Prarthana Sen, also excelled, earning a silver medal in the Youth category and finishing fifth in the junior category. Her consistent performance and confidence left a lasting impression on both the audience and experts.
