Bhopal, August 13: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh made a significant announcement on the 231st death anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. He stated that the state government will soon establish a board for the Pal-Gadariya community. The announcement was made during a memorial event held at Ravindra Bhawan in the capital, where the Chief Minister lit the ceremonial lamp to commence the proceedings.
During the event, Yadav emphasized the legacy of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, a ruler who brought pride to Madhya Pradesh and the nation. He noted her exemplary governance, which set standards for good administration during her reign. The state government also held a cabinet meeting at Rajwada to honor her contributions, recognizing her as a symbol of good governance.
Yadav highlighted that the values of service, justice, sacrifice, and empowerment, as embodied by Devi Ahilyabai, are guiding the state’s progress in various sectors, including women’s empowerment and cultural renaissance. He reiterated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the state government is committed to the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all). The Pal-Gadariya community is recognized as descendants of Lord Krishna.
He assured that the government would swiftly form the Pal-Gadariya community board to ensure adequate representation for its members. The government remains dedicated to addressing the welfare and concerns of the Gadariya community. Additionally, efforts are being made to promote milk production and animal husbandry for the economic prosperity of the state.
