Madhya Pradesh to Establish Grand Saraswati Lok at Bhojshala: CM Mohan Yadav

Bhopal, June 2: The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced plans to create a magnificent Saraswati Lok at the Bhojshala complex in Dhar. Additionally, the Raja Bhoj Institute will be established here. Before a cabinet meeting, CM Yadav highlighted that the Bhojshala, founded by Raja Bhoj, has been a prominent center for knowledge, science, research, and the Sanskrit language for centuries.

He noted that students and scholars from far and wide have come to acquire knowledge and engage in discussions on scriptures. The state government is committed to reviving the glorious past of Bhojshala. Furthermore, a Raja Bhoj Research Institute will be set up in Dhar, the land of Raja Bhoj.

CM Yadav also announced that the families of the three martyrs—Bansinh, Antarsinh, and Lakmrin Singh—who sacrificed their lives during the Bhojshala movement will receive financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each from the state government.

He remarked that on May 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed 12 successful years of dedicated service to the nation. Under his leadership, India has achieved significant milestones in self-reliance, security, cultural pride, digital revolution, and global leadership. The spirit of Antyodaya has ensured that the benefits of various schemes reach the last person in the line.

CM Yadav praised the initiative to create a website for gathering suggestions regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He mentioned that a high-level committee is touring the districts to gather opinions from the public, political parties, and NGOs. The deadline for submitting suggestions has been set for June 15, 2026.

He instructed the ministers to promote the high-level committee formed for the UCC and its activities, as well as the website, extensively.
