Madhya Pradesh: Thunderstorm and Rain Expected in 30 Districts Including Indore and Bhopal Today

Bhopal, June 8  : Madhya Pradesh had sweltered during the Nautapa (nine-day heatwave) period, but as soon as the Nautapa ended, the spell of thunderstorms and rain began. The weather has changed in the capital Bhopal and many other districts for the past two days.

Rain, thunderstorms, and lightning are predicted in 30 districts of the state, including Indore and Bhopal, today, Saturday. While the effect of heat will remain in Niwari and Chhatarpur districts.

The Meteorological Department says that this weather is being formed due to Western Disturbance, trough line, and cyclonic circulation.

Thunderstorm and Rain

Earlier, it rained in many districts including Dhar, Ratlam, Katni, Chhindwara on Friday-Saturday night. While Chhatarpur’s Bijawar was the hottest. The temperature here was recorded at 46 degrees. 45.5 degrees in Damoh, 45.1 degrees in Niwari’s Prithvipur, and 45 degrees in Shivpuri were recorded.

Similarly, the temperature crossed 44 degrees in Naugaon, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Rajgarh, Singrauli, Badwani, Guna, and Khajuraho.

Talking about the big cities, the temperature was recorded at 41.4 degrees in Bhopal, 40.5 degrees in Indore, 43.8 degrees in Gwalior, 42.8 degrees in Jabalpur, and 42.8 degrees Celsius in Ujjain.

The Meteorological Department said that due to the passage of Western Disturbance, cyclonic circulation, and trough line, the spell of thunderstorms and rain is continuing in the state. At the same time, the effect of heat is also seen in some districts.

Similar weather will continue in the coming days. On the other hand, the monsoon is continuously moving forward at its own pace. In such a situation, there is a possibility of its reaching Madhya Pradesh on time.
