Madhya Pradesh Minister Criticizes Rahul Gandhi Ahead of His Indore Visit

Bhopal, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : Bhopal’s political landscape is heating up as Madhya Pradesh Minister Vishwas Sarang has launched a sharp critique of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi ahead of his scheduled visit to Indore. Sarang’s comments come in the wake of several pressing issues, including the long-awaited master plan for Bhopal and Gandhi’s recent activities.

Speaking to reporters, Sarang emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is fully committed to the development of the state and expressed confidence in the progress of Bhopal. He accused the Congress party of engaging in destructive politics rather than focusing on development.

In response to Congress leader P.C. Sharma’s 31-hour hunger strike regarding the Bhopal master plan, Sarang questioned the relevance of such protests. He pointed out that during Congress’s 14-month tenure, these leaders were silent on the issue. Sarang assured that the BJP government is serious about the master plan and will present it soon, dismissing the hunger strike as mere political theatrics.

Sarang also addressed the recent visit of Congress leader Digvijaya Singh to Banda, urging politicians to avoid creating class conflict or confusion around tragic events. He described the situation as unfortunate and reiterated the government’s commitment to preventing similar incidents in the future, advising opposition leaders against politicizing deaths.

Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming visit, Sarang stated that there are no restrictions on his events. However, he urged Gandhi to refrain from making divisive comments that could incite conflict among communities. Sarang accused Gandhi of playing politics based on religion and caste, suggesting he should avoid such tactics. He also criticized Gandhi’s past statements and foreign tours, claiming they tarnished India’s image.

As the political climate intensifies, all eyes will be on Gandhi’s actions during his visit to Madhya Pradesh.
