Lovely Kandara Encounter Case: CBI Team Arrives in Jodhpur, Investigation Begins

Jodhpur, January 28 . The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has commenced its probe into the high-profile Lovely Kandara encounter case. On Tuesday, a CBI team arrived in Jodhpur and started gathering information. On January 9, the CBI registered a case against the then police officials and personnel involved in the matter.

As per reports, the CBI team reached Jodhpur today. The team is conducting investigations at different locations, recording statements, and collecting evidence. They are also connecting dots using media coverage from newspapers and television reports at the time. The police had previously declared the incident as an encounter.

This investigation is being conducted under the supervision of Delhi Special Police Deputy SP Mohinder Singh. According to the case details, the accused include the then SHO of Ratanada Police Station, Leela Ram, and constables Jitendra Singh, Kishan Singh, Vishwas, and Ankit. It is noteworthy that Lovely Kandaraโ€™s family and relatives had demanded a CBI inquiry into the encounter case, alleging that it was a case of murder by the police.
