Udaipur, January 22: Chaos erupted in Salumber, Rajasthan, on Wednesday morning when a leopard was spotted in the bustling Nagda market, sending residents into a state of panic.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the leopard around 8 a.m., moving through the market area before climbing onto the roof of a house. The big cat continued to leap from one rooftop to another, creating fear and confusion among locals.

Regional Forest Officer Dilip Singh Chauhan confirmed that a local forest team was dispatched to the site, and a special rescue team from Udaipur was called in to assist. โWe are making every effort to capture the leopard safely and without harm to residents or the animal,โ Chauhan stated.
Currently, the leopard remains confined to the rooftops, and the Forest Department is closely monitoring its movements.
