Leaders Pay Tribute to Dadabhai Naoroji on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : On September 4, leaders from across India gathered to pay tribute to Dadabhai Naoroji, a prominent freedom fighter and revered figure in Indian politics, on his birth anniversary. Notable figures, including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, reflected on his significant contributions.

Nitin Gadkari took to social media platform X, expressing, “On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Dadabhai Naoroji, I pay my humble respects.”

Chief Minister Dhami highlighted Naoroji’s role as a distinguished educator and social reformer, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter and eminent scholar Dadabhai Naoroji, I bow down with utmost respect. Your dedication to the nation’s freedom, education, and social awakening will always inspire us.”

Deputy Chief Minister Maurya remembered Naoroji’s economic insights, saying, “On the birth anniversary of the ‘Grand Old Man of Indian Politics,’ I pay my deepest respects. He exposed the exploitative economic policies of British rule and empowered the consciousness of Swaraj and economic independence for the nation. His dedication to the motherland and his inspiring legacy of service will always guide us.”

Bihar Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha also honored Naoroji, writing, “On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, educator, and social reformer Dadabhai Naoroji, I bow in reverence.”

BJP MLA Mukesh Sharma acknowledged Naoroji’s contributions, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter and nationalist thinker Dadabhai Naoroji, I respectfully pay my homage. His dedication to the nation’s freedom and public service will always serve as an inspiration.”
