Kulgam, May 14: In a decisive action against drug trafficking, police in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, have demolished three under-construction shops associated with a drug trafficking suspect. Authorities aim to send a clear message to other offenders that similar actions will be taken against anyone found involved in drug trafficking in the near future.
The suspect has been identified as Jahangir Ahmed Bhat, who faces charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. So far, the police have successfully dismantled three of his shops and are considering further actions against him.
This operation was conducted in collaboration with the district administration. The police have made it clear that any other individuals found involved in drug trafficking will face similar consequences. There will be no leniency shown during actions against any suspects involved in such cases.
Authorities emphasize that this is just the beginning. They are actively working to identify all individuals in the district who are attempting to corrupt society through drug supply.
The police have also urged the public to report any information related to drug trafficking. This will assist them in taking action against other offenders.
